Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Aupaire Beauty and Aupaire Beauty Pro ("we", "our", or "us") are the customer booking and professional business-management applications operated by Aupaire Technology and Artificial Intelligence. This policy covers the shared Beauty platform and explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information.
Aupaire helps customers arrange appointments and helps independent barbershops, salons, and beauty businesses manage bookings, schedules, staff, and business records. Independent providers perform the booked services at their own premises, including aesthetic laser hair removal where offered. Aupaire does not perform treatments, operate providers' equipment, or provide clinical care.
Aupaire Beauty and Beauty Pro are not medical devices and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Health information and the booking boundary
The current booking flow does not request health questionnaires, medical histories, diagnoses, or treatment records. Aupaire does not provide patient medical-record management. Please do not enter medical or other sensitive health information in booking notes, messages, reviews, support requests, or uploaded images. These free-text and upload features are intended for booking and service coordination.
If an independent provider needs consultation, treatment, or health information to deliver its service safely, arrange that directly with the provider under its own privacy arrangements. This does not change Aupaire's responsibilities for the personal information processed through our platform. Account information, selected services, appointments, payments, and communications are still personal data and are handled as described below.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account and use our app, we may collect:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo. In Aupaire Beauty Client only, we also collect your gender selection (Male, Female, or Prefer not to say) to personalize recommendations for services, places, and relevant offers. All services remain accessible. You can change your selection in your Beauty Client profile; Prefer not to say means your gender is not used for recommendations.
- Booking and Service Information: Appointment details, selected providers and services, service preferences, booking and purchase history, booking instructions, and acknowledgements of the booking policies presented to you.
- Payment and Wallet Information: Wallet balances and activity, reward activity, and payment, purchase, top-up, refund, and transaction history, including amounts, currency, status, and provider references. We may receive limited payment-method information from our payment provider, such as the card brand, masked card details, or the last digits. Full card numbers and card security codes are entered with and handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Aupaire.
- Location and Address Data: Addresses you save or provide; approximate location used to show nearby businesses; and precise or approximate foreground location, only with your permission, to set or update a location and to estimate arrival after you mark yourself on the way. We do not continuously track your location in the background.
- Messages and Other Content: In-app messages, reviews, ratings, notes, photos, and other content you choose to submit.
- Device and Notification Information: A resettable, app-scoped installation reference, push-notification registration tokens, device family or model, operating-system family and version, locale, app version, and build. We do not collect an IMEI, hardware serial number, MAC address, Advertising ID, IDFA, or another persistent hardware identifier for diagnostics.
- Usage and Diagnostics: Pseudonymous account-support and installation references, safe screen or operation names, request references, startup and network timing, security events, crash reports, and performance diagnostics used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our services. These diagnostics may include nonfatal error categories and application-not-responding events. Diagnostic reports exclude message content, booking answers, addresses, payment data, authentication tokens, and dynamic request URLs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and manage your bookings with beauty service providers.
- To present booking requirements, record booking-policy acknowledgements, and share the appointment information needed for a provider to manage your booking.
- To operate wallets, payments, purchases, refunds, and related financial records, and to prevent fraud and reconcile transactions.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates.
- To deliver messages and notifications and to publish or moderate content such as reviews.
- To calculate and display a traffic-aware arrival estimate while you are travelling to a confirmed appointment.
- To analyze app usage, investigate crashes, improve app functionality, and maintain security and reliability.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To ensure the security of your account.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Beauty Service Providers: Independent salons, barbers, beauty clinics, and their authorized professionals receive the information needed to manage your appointment, including your name, contact and booking details, and relevant booking notes or instructions. This is booking coordination, not a patient medical-record service. Information you send in a provider conversation is visible to the participants in that conversation.
- Payment Processors: We send the transaction information needed to process a payment. The payment processor handles raw card details and may return masked payment-method information, transaction references, and payment status to Aupaire.
- Routing Provider: When you request an arrival estimate, the current origin and business destination are sent securely to Google Maps Platform to calculate travel duration and distance. Aupaire does not retain your origin coordinates or the provider response after the short display interval.
- Technology Vendors: Providers that support hosting, push notifications, analytics, crash diagnostics, security, or customer support may process the limited account, device, usage, or diagnostic information needed to perform those services for us.
- Aupaire Support Assistant: With your permission in Help & Support, OpenAI processes the relevant history of your current support conversation and the limited booking, service, payment-status, and diagnostic details needed to answer your request. We limit this context to records you are authorized to access, remove contact details and secrets where possible, and exclude stored health questionnaires and raw payment credentials. Please do not include sensitive health information or card details in support messages. You can contact our team instead or withdraw permission in Help & Support. Withdrawal stops new assistant processing and pending assistant responses; it cannot recall information already sent or undo an action already completed under your instructions. Existing support requests and history remain available to our team.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Google Maps Platform processing is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.
Our OpenAI API requests disable stored responses. This is not a promise of zero provider retention: OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs and other limited operational data under its API data controls. API data is not used to train OpenAI models by default.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure token-based authentication, and encrypted data storage to protect your personal information.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data through your account settings.
- Update or correct your information at any time.
- Request deletion of your shared customer and Beauty Pro identity from either app's settings or through the public Aupaire account-deletion page, without reinstalling an app. The request covers deletion or de-identification of associated data that no longer needs to identify you, subject to booking, payment, business-ownership, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal-retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent for location services through device settings.
6. Data Retention
A verified account-deletion submission creates an audited request for the shared identity used by the customer and Beauty Pro applications. The request is recorded even when payment reconciliation, an in-progress appointment, a professional assignment, or sole-owner remediation must finish before fulfillment. Submitting the request does not immediately deactivate the identity, revoke sessions, cancel bookings, or erase records. Access remains active while we complete required remediation, identity verification, and legally governed fulfillment. We will not represent request acceptance as completed erasure.
We retain personal data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. During account-deletion fulfillment, we delete or de-identify data that no longer needs to identify you, but may retain transaction, booking, wallet, payment, refund, payout, entitlement, consent, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, accounting, or legal records where required or permitted by law. Limited copies may also remain temporarily in protected backups before they are overwritten under the approved backup-retention schedule.
Customer-linked crash, error, performance, and diagnostic occurrences are retained in customer-searchable form for up to 90 days. Older release-health trends may be retained only as de-identified aggregates. Installation records follow the account lifecycle and governed deletion process. Messages, reviews, booking notes, notification registrations, and other submitted content or analytics records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the relevant feature, maintain security, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, or improve service reliability.
Current coordinates used for an arrival estimate are request-scoped and are not written to booking history, analytics, or logs. The displayed estimate is kept only for the active refresh interval. We retain a timestamped operational event that a routing request occurred, without coordinates or route results, for cost control and security auditing.
7. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
